Monday came a little too fast, but as I dragged my butt out of bed I looked out onto the harbor and realized how excited I was for the day ahead.
We started off with a tour of the Australian Broadcasting Company; it was very interesting to hear how a government funded news company handles scrutiny from the government. The way they did things was much different from America broadcasting, and seemed a lot more ethical than most media types in America.
From there, we were off to the Olympic stadium, which was super cool to see. It was massive and had so much history; the place just seemed to have this cool energy.
The hardest part of the day was the scavenger hunt, fortunately our team figured out all the clues right away. On the downside, the Sydney transportation system is extremely complicated and we had troubles navigating through the large city. As most of our stops were pretty spread out, we tried walking to most places because we couldn’t figure out the transportation system. Soon enough we were out of time, and headed to this awesome restaurant with great food. After all the walking everyone was pretty exhausted and we headed back to the hotel.'
