Examples of standard or personal articles (as determined by their size)

•Carry-on bag, roller bag, backpack, briefcase,

•Laptop computer,

•Camera bag,

•Garment bag (size and weight restrictions apply),

•Diplomatic or consular bag,

•Musical instrument.

•Cat or small dog in its carrier,

•Airport shopping and duty-free purchases,

•Sport racquet (e.g. tennis, squash, badminton)

Our Suggestions for what to pack to bring on plane.

  • Toothbrush and tooth paste (travel size)

  • Hair brush

  • Wipes. Easy to clean up and wash on plane or between flights

  • "Ear Planes" (Special ear plugs for those who have ear problems when they are flying)

  • Decongestants

  • Deodorant

  • Passport, wallet and ID

  • Headphones

  • Cell phone

  • Books and magazines

  • Laptop, Ipad etc.

  • Pen (to fill out custom forms)

  • Change of clothes (especially underwear)

  • Glasses/contact lenses and associated chemicals (travel size)

  • Any prescription medications

  • Neck pillow (looks dorky, but these make the flight much more comfortable)

  • Cash

  • Kleenex

  • Zip lock bags (plastic bags) all liquids in your carry on must be bagged.

  • AirBourne (immune system booster - start taking a few days before we leave)

Suggestions of things to bring

  • Walking shoes (in the past we have logged over 120 miles over the trip)

  • Weather will change from warm to cold in one day, so bring warm and cool weather clothes

  • Sunglasses/hat (remember we are in the tropics for part of the trip)

  • Toiletries (some shampoo and soaps are included in the hotels)

  • Medications

  • Power adapter

  • Chargers - phone, laptops etc.

  • Umbrella - small

  • Light jacket

  • Sweaters (or a "jumper" as it is called in Australia)

  • Bathing suit (pool at some hotels. If you are going to beach you can purchase a cheap towel or borrow one from the hotel)

  • Change of clothes for about 5 days - casual and business. You will have laundry in all 3 cities and we will buy detergent there.

  • We will ask you to pack some of the gifts for business visits (we will distribute gifts when we meet at Cheel to catch the bus to spread the weight around).

  • Make sure you have weighed your bag before you arrive - remember you only have 50 lbs. for your checked bag and you will be responsible for any overage costs (see above). You will most likely be making purchases there and you have to be mindful of the weight of your luggage in-country. However you can check a second bag for the trip home and can buy a cheap carry-on to check if you have a lot of souveniers.
